Dr. David W. Schiestl is an economic sociologist and joined KMU Forschung Austria in May 2024. Previously, he worked on various research projects at the University of Vienna, including the Austrian Corona Panel Project (ACPP) and "Labor Market Integration of Refugees". His areas of expertise include labor markets, migration, organization, social psychology, health, and family. David combines both quantitative and qualitative social research methods, with a focus on causal estimation and issue analysis.
