The e-commerce study is intended as a benchmarking survey of online and mobile shopping by Austrian consumers (traditional mail order is also covered). The main indicators analysed are the number of shoppers, their expenditure and the development over time (annual time series data are available back to 2011).
The special focus of this year’s study is on the new life and shopping reality shaped by Corona: The study examines the effects of the Corona pandemic on consumers as well as the development of online and mobile shopping, as well as the classic mail order business after Corona.
