The report "SMEs in Focus" uses current facts and figures to highlight the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises for the Austrian economy. One focus chapter is devoted to the effects of the Corona-related crisis on SMEs. Furthermore, the report provides an overview of recent SME support measures, which are based on the three pillars of the new SME strategy of the European Commission. Every year the report on small and medium sized enterprises is presented to the Austrian Parliament.
