The Vienna Creative Industries Report provides a comprehensive overview of the structure and development of Vienna's creative industries.

Almost a fifth of Vienna's companies (19,000) belong to the creative industries. These companies employ around 71,300 people and generate a turnover of € 12.7 billion.

The software and games sector employs the most people - around 23,000. Advertising is in second place with 13,100 employees, followed by the book and publishing sector with 10,000 employees.
