Anja Marcher completed her Master's degree in Human Geography at the University of Vienna in 2014 and her PhD in Geography at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in 2023. Anja has been working at KMU Forschung Austria since July 2020 and is mainly active in the research areas research, innovation and transformation as well as labor market and working environment. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at Eurac Research in Bolzano, as a research assistant at the Austrian Institute of Economic Research and as a student assistant at the Institute of Demography of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Her previous work focused on practical and innovation-oriented issues of regional development.
