Herbert Neubauer is Professor of Business Administration with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and visiting professor at German universities. He was awarded the Rudolf Sallinger Prize for his research. Herbert Neubauer has been a guest lecturer at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences for many years. He is a reviewer of several scientific international high-ranking journals. Prof. Neubauer is the initiator and founder of the university course for "Family Business Management" accredited by the Ministry of Education, Science and Research. He is also a consultant to numerous family businesses. In addition to his scientific work, he brings with him extensive experience as an entrepreneur in the ancillary construction industry.
