Until his retirement, Herbert Neubauer worked at the Institute for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and was a visiting professor at several German universities. He was awarded the Rudolf Sallinger Prize for his research. Herbert Neubauer has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna for many years and is a reviewer for scientific journals. As initiator and founder of the university course "Family Business Management", which is accredited by the Ministry of Science and Research, he has made a significant contribution to academic education in this field. He also advises numerous family businesses and brings to his academic expertise extensive practical experience as an entrepreneur in the construction industry.
